Gower Self Catering Holiday Cottage
Hill House is situated on a very quiet no through lane on the western edge of the
village of Llanrhidianon on the north coast of the Gower peninsula. This large and comfortable self catering holiday cottage provides a tranquil rural setting with large secluded
gardens and magnificent views across open fields and the salt marshes of the Burry Estuary.
Located in the heart of the Gower peninsula, Hill House
and Llanrhidian, with its church, shop, bakery, ATM, off
licence, post office, restaurant and public house, provide
an ideal self catering holiday cottage for exploring all of
Gower's beaches, footpaths and many other attractions.
Hill House was rebuilt from the ruins of a 17th century cottage by our family in 1895, renovated by us, for use as our
own holiday cottage in 1990 and has been let, on a commercial basis, as a self catering holiday cottage from 2006. Our
renovation retained some of the original features and provided all the facilities that you would expect in a well equipped
self catering holiday cottage. The downstairs bedroom and shower room with WC is ideal for those who may have minor
mobility issues.

The Gower peninsula has an abundance of self catering accommodation to suite holiday makers
of all tastes, encompassing barn conversions, holiday cottages, traditional Gower style
houses, semi and detached houses, bungalows, apartments, chalets, caravans and teepees.
In fact, an Edwardian semi detached house in one of Swansea's leafy suburbs, the birthplace
and family home of one of Swansea's most famous sons, the poet Dylan Thomas, is now
a self catering holiday cottage. |

2 years.
- Dog friendly - pets are welcome by prior arrangement
- Strictly NO SMOKING within Hill House
- Weekly rentals run from Friday to Friday
- tariff from £350 per week in the low season to £880 per week during peak season
- short breaks of 2, 3 or 4 nights are available outside peak seasons
- Tariff includes bed linen, towels, electricity, central heating and hot water.

The kitchen is equipped with a new fan oven electric cooker (March 2012), microwave oven, steamer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher,
washing machine, toaster, electric kettle, steamer, pots, pans crockery, cutlery, radio/CD player, etc.

The Gower Peninsula
With its unique combination of natural beauty and history, demonstrated in its rugged limestone cliffs, sandy coves and spectacular coastal views, the Gower peninsula was designated as the UK’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in 1956. The abundance of flora and fauna makes the Gower peninsula an ideal area for naturalists and ornithologists. Gower people are hospitable and friendly and welcome visitors from all over the world.
